Even in winter times, the desert is really hot. It's the only time that I perspired in UAE. I also started to throw up after too many ups and downs travelling on the sand dunes. Travelling in desert definitely need a 4WD but that is not all. The drivers from Arabian Adventures have to go for a special desert driving lesson. The drivers were very experienced. We actually were travelling in convoy and so if a vehicle breakdown or got stuck in the sand, the others can help. |

Don't you think it's exciting? Even the drivers like to do this. After 2 rounds of up and down in circular direction, all 4 passengers, including me, which happened to be all Singaporeans, request to abort the "ride". For me, it's because I'm gonna throw up. I was seated in the most disadvantageous seat which don't feel any air-con and very hot. |

Fossil Rock This picture was taken by my friend, on a tall sand dune. I feel strange that the dunes did not devour this rock. |

Sundowner-Dune dinner An evening in the desert. See camels and take a camel ride. Watch the beautiful scenery of the sunset. Proceed to Bedu encampment and enjoy a feast of barbecued meats and other food. There'll be a tradional entertainment by a belly dancer swaying to the rhythms of Arabic music. |

Rides and slides The 4WD will take you deep into the desert and you'll have a camel ride across the desert to the campsite. Then you'll have fun with sand-skiing-the newest and most exciting sports. The photo tells everything. |

Starlight Express- Overnight Safari Depending on season, you'll head to the camel racing track. You'll then proceed into the deep desert, set up camps. You'll enjoy a barbecue feast in the evening. The next morning, you'll travel to Hajar mountains and return to Dubai at noon. |
